Introduction
Once again Easter presented a good opportunity for a tour in the fjelds of home, once again I opted for the eastern side of things to avoid the crowded fjeld stations to the west, and once again I travelled light. Weather forecasts were very favorable, but I still waited until just a few days before Good Friday before finally deciding to go – one of the advantages of having Östersund as one's place of residence.
The route I planned was the exact opposite of the Easter tour in 2005, but now I intended to stay off the trail as often as possible, with several specific targets in mind.

Add to that half a liter of warm water in the thermos, and another half-liter of cold water in a bottle carried in a pocket of the jacket.
Here, then, is the account of what transpired during the subsequent four days. Each section has a header consisting of a short overview of the stage in question, complete with a map showing the route travelled. A ring marks the starting point, a square the lunch break location, and a star the destination. Vertical distances have been calculated from the map and have an accuracy of 20 m. All cottage breakfasts consisted of oatmeal porridge, tea and a sandwich.
