This little building in the middle of the grand valley Visttasvággi has a special standing, as its construction was ordered by a private citizen who wanted it for personal use only. This person was the Swedish nurse Lisa Zetterström, and she obtained permission to erect the cabin in 1932. After Lisa stopped coming to it sometime around 1960 it has been open to passers-by, and is still accessible – provided that one can get across Visttasjohka, as the main hiking trail through the valley goes on the other side of the stream. In winter the snowmobile transports up the valley often drop people off here. The cabin itself is indeed small and the beds even more so: around 170 cm. The chimney backbone is also in questionable condition, so visitors are asked not to make too intense a fire.
