Tarraälvshyddan

This is STF's oldest building still standing, built in 1889 and situated on the western brink of Darrhaädno beneath Gurátjåhkkå. It is in surprisingly good condition considering its centenarian status, and inside one finds a narrow bunk along the wall and a large fireplace. Under the appropriate weather conditions the site holds great beauty and peacefulness – but also its fair share of mosquitos.
